Dr. Deaf was born and raised in Egypt. After she graduated from The School Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University in 2010 she moved to the United States with her family. She worked as a veterinary technician at PPAH while enrolled in The Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certification program with the AVMA to obtain her veterinary equivalent license in the United States. She earned her Veterinary License from Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Deaf had been practicing in New Jersey at a general practice until she moved to NY to join PPAH again as a DVM in 2022.
Dr. Deaf has a variety of interests in veterinary medicine, including: internal medicine, dermatology (particularly allergy cases) and dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and keeping up with her children.
